Where can I find the Terms and Conditions for rental?
At the back of the contract you will find all the concepts related to the rules of use of the vehicle, charges for rent, insurance, accidents, repairs and maintenance, rental, replacement, transport rules, and exemptions from insurance, duly explained.
How far in advance do I have to book?
As far in advance as possible. Although it is possible to come directly to our BapipoRent delegation and find a van available for rental, it is always advisable to book in advance in order to avoid any last minute surprises and be certain that your vehicle will be at your disposal on the date and time scheduled.
What requirements do I need to rent a van?
In order to rent a van, you must:
1. have a B driving licence.
2. make sure your driving licence is valid.
3. be over 21 years old.
4. have a credit or debit card.
Can other people drive the van?
All those people who are mentioned in the contract can drive the van, with a maximum of two drivers free of charge. If you want to add an additional driver, it will have an extra cost.
If I need the vehicle for one more day, what should I do?
When you pick up the vehicle you will be given a telephone number where you can contact us and request the extension of your contract.
What is the fuel policy?
When you give back the vehicle, the fuel tank level must be the same as when received. You will be charged an additional amount.
What damages are not covered by insurance?
The van rental insurance doesn’t cover damages to roofs and undercarriages of vehicles, punctures, total or partial breakage of tires, accessories and documents, accidents off the paved road, accidents caused when the driver exceeds the alcohol level allowed by law, towing services not authorized by BapipoRent, damages caused by negligence or incorrect use of the vehicle, breakage or loss of keys, removal of the signage without authorization of BapipoRent, fuel error, burns marks in the upholstery, removing or replacing seats, making holes in the bodywork, damages caused inside the box due to incorrect use and damages in the wheel arches.
What should I do in the event of an accident, breakdown or theft of the vehicle?
In the event of an accident or breakdown of the vehicle, the customer has a 24-hour assistance telephone line, included in the insurance.
What is the difference between deposit and excess?
‘Deposit’ refers to the amount charged, as a deposit, which will be returned when the vehicle is given back (in the same conditions as it was received).
‘Excess‘ refers to the customer’s liability for damages caused to the vehicle.
